Dear Cumberlege
Thank you for your letter of Nov.2. I am glad you
and B.R. are happy concerning the U.S.A. edition of the
Odyssey. They tell me the Emory Walker edition is going
off fairly well - at least it has paid expenses.
So far as I am concerned there is no objection to
the U.S.A. edition being sold in India - or in any other
British possession or dominion; I live in England,- and the
ban applies only to the U.K. & Free State of Ireland. If
your press will do its best to restrict the British sales
(and imports) it may do its worst in the rest of the earth!
