If it does please let me have a line; I used to be Lawrence curing the war: I have written a book (not for present publication) about it: I'm decorating portraits of ... people. I'd most libelled in it, to decorate it; and I'd very much like yours to add to the number. A young but good artist Brig Kennington, would draw you quickly (two sittings, either in one day or spaced) in coloured pastel, for me. He has done Boyle, and some twenty of the Arabs in Abdullah's camp at Amman, where he went in 1921. I need hardly say that no photographs are admissible to the book: all drawings or paintings. I'm hoping for about fifty heads in all. Please forgive (i) the suddenness of this. (ii) the paper on which it is written. (iii) the amount of "I"s in it.
