(continuation of letter of 23.3.1937) I solc my interest in the Deve Huvuk group to Woolley, for the cost & my expenses, being short of money put here: but it really was the better thing to do, for it was only about £10 worth out of £35 and he has promised to make a fair division of as much of the whole as you want between you and the B.M. It is quite interesting stuff, because you get coins, and Greek pottery, a glazed vase, a cylinder, a fibula, a bronze bowl, & Egyptian stuff in the same tomb-group:- at the same time I suspect most of the actual stuff of being very second class: in which case the P.M. won't get overruch:- and I know you will like it. c.l.
