LH 9/13/42 Plymouth. 11. Vi. 31 Dear Isham This is fortunate. I pay my "summer" visit to London on June 20 and 21, staying probably for one or the nights in Barton Street, just behind you. So we can see each other, for certain. I have promised to meet four people on those days, times to be fixed by them by letter; that shouldn't take up much of it. One of the four will be Bruce ... ..., who is shortly going back to the States. London is so good a place that I take any excuse to run up there, when in funds. I was there in January, and hope to get up once more in the late autumn. Normally they keep us fairly busy here. Yours .... T.E. Shaw.
