Hyland Controls with me. It takes nearly 5 hours per boat; and till the trials of the 15 are over, he and I have little chance of putting in those 5 quiet hours
The Power Co. have no other fitter capable of doing
the work as well as Leonard. It is not adjust-
ment, but cam-cutting, and serrating the pulley
wheels: work done once for all, not a running adjust-
ment.
If you have ordered the Felixstowe crews,
then please warn Mr. Barker of it; and we will do
only one Admiralty test daily after Wed. (by when
the Felix. Fleet should all have passed out), and
spend the rest of the time tuning the Felix fleet,
so as to have it fit by Monday week.
I have handed 202 over to Galahot, temor-
arily,* until we can do her stern glands and rubber
fend-offs. She is better out of the yard while we
are so busy.
The passing out ofeach boat will be phoned
up to your office, to keep you in touch, till you
can get down here. It seems to me that I am not
going to have much time for writing to you about them.
Yours Etc.
T.W. Shaw.
