Dear Jock
Scribbled in a hurry. Letter from you just sent on
Friday night: no date. Yo say you ... coming "the
... week"? Which?
Present situation is that a Mrs Roberts & her son
are in the Cottage - or I think they are - long since I
was there. I have told her you are the next comer, & that
she may stay till you are d.c.a.
Will you, if you can, send to Mrs Knowles, at Clouds
24 hours notice of your arrival. Then she will tell Mrs. R.
to hop it.
No harm in this. I'm not under any obligation to
Mrs. R. and she is quite ready to hop it when told. If,
indeed she is thereat all!
I don't know!
Yours
T.S.S.
