Dear Goldie, Hogarth has sent me on your letter. The subscribed edition of my thing is all booked up - booked long ago, and printed. For your age too, I have to warn you, it's far too long on it. The subscription was thirty guineas, taking a lump ! Yes, having been one of my set (if you want it) a gratis copy of the text of the subscribed edition is stipulated this in my letter to the subscribers. It's strictly the same text as they have, but has none of the illustrations. The illustrations are being separately printed, and have been drawn for me by artists of repute. I take it from your letter, that you'd like one of these private copies and shall send it you when it's ready. Or rather When it's map is ready. The map is the only thing of it not printed.
