I have no brief, or no exclusive brief for the K.L.d. 17. We did the first 50 hour test of the Power engine in the 25-foot mill with the; so I knew they would stand up to the heat. . They oil, in my own boat, but its rings are very worn. We fitted them to 801 here, because she was on Lodge 09, and those had burnt, and because they were the only other plugs we had. /d I took them from a Napier Lion, for which they were standard till last week. Now they have been withdrawn for some other K.L.d. plugs. No.A.21, so far as Lions are concerned. I would like to give t he K.L.d. 17 plugs a month's ... use, and then test you AC plugs, and then perhaps the A.21 aero plugs. I do not see why reconditioned aero plugs should not do for thamboats. We have been sent the engine spare list from the Power Boat Co. It does not seem to include boat spares, nor autopulses, nor solenoids, but will be very useful. Your £50 credit to Kidbrooke should do all that is necessary for months. Wing Commander Burling is going to come aboard, himself, for the target and aircraft towing trials, so the will be very good.
