Dear Williamson
Various things ha.e held me back from writing to you.
My move? I am a creature of habit, a to change station
upsets my mind. My work: it is heavy here, so that
for three months I have done no ...iding. Your ......
for you are a figure now: and y... ill not want the
encoura.ement of ...vate people.
Cape tells me he has your next novel. I hope you
will make two or three years' reserve money out of your
opportunity, & so get off your chest one of the very
big things of which I'm sure you are capable.
The risk is that you may grow too rich: because then
you'll have, like poor Beloc, always to do all sorts
of dirty things to earn a little more.
You know that you have my best wishes & admiration,
always.
Yours
T.E.Shaw
