To Rogarth 6.XI.85 I expect Tawnay will have told you that I'm coming down to Ox- ford on Saturday night, (won't be able to leave London this I or 8 PM) to stay until early Sunday morning; and in that Sunday you hope to put my point of view as to the Seven Pillars before you depart. It is briefly that I'm aiming at a public that will pay but not restrictive to the sort of what one hears the plutocrats would be of that sort. If as many as 200 copies were sent out, the book would be severely cut down, & that means another edition some-day, & consequently no risk now. The fewer the copies the less the risk. I don't shirk a bit - in fact I intend revising the libellous paragraphs. The mood for them has passed off. There are only about five - two English & three Arab. However more talk later on. T.S.
