be ready in a fortnight, for the dinghy test.
About the Seven Pillars. I have heard from
Richards, its owner. He intends to stay another year
in S. Wales. So I can keep it, within reason, as long
as I like.
Will you send it down me when you have finished
with it ? A friend of mine down here is anxious to
see it....."Read it" he said, but that is not a small
job ! Take absolutely all the time you want over it.
Is it too late to persuade Scot...-Paine to make
room at the fore-end of the engines for hand-swinging,

The cranking them over, quarter-turn by quarter-turn, is
tedious.
Yours sincerely
T. E. Shaw.
201 has now been about 5 months in the water.
These boats should come out, I think, for 24 hours
each fortnight. Her under-water hull is thick with
grease.
The steering of 201 is much more easy, and more
sudden than 200's. S-P. had distinctly improved the
rudder-action.
