To Inham 22/11/27
wrote and told me, and I advised Elison as the selling agent, telling him not to accept too much, since my friend only an artificially filled basket, and his copy set the standard thing. Now rather fancy your benediction will shake his path easy for life. Curb how militant we are when spoiled proofs, you know. If you can think of any personal modus by which I could save them more readily point it out to me, for the aid your help to Falmer, as much as for the refused offers to myself.
I expect it will take you two or three years to get out of the first section of your treasure. I wonder where I will be then? This address will find me still, and after 1920, probably ... and after that I will lie on the knees of the Air Ministry; who are considerate and human lords.
Again I'd like to repeat my thanks.
Yours ever
T E Shaw
