To T.W. Beaumont, "Helmi" 63 Broad St, Scout Hill, Dewsbury [checked by original] Bridlington 25. 2. 35 Dear Beaumont, I've been away, & your letter waited, & tomorrow I leave here (for the n.s.f.) finally. Your contribution sent the press men scurrying about Bridlington, I believe; but vainly. They are proper bribo-hounds. Keep clear of them, for your own sake. If it is true you got a good offer for my letters, by all means take it! They are your property, but copy-right (that is the right to publish) remains mine always. Sell 'em cheerfully, but for the Lord's sake don't let pressmen read them or repeat them. It's pretty beastly to have them snooping around the place. I'm in a hurry, clearing up to go. Yours TES Shaw
