Robin Buxton is going miracles in the direction of rich men: so
after all that edition may come off. There are nearly twenty in
sight now, & the picture-work is in hand. ... she will get nothing
I'll write to the greyhound inn that she will get nothing
out of me: I've climbed a lip like that; & forgotten it.
Her mind is quite right....and my opinion of her goes up.
Sorry, very sorry, about the Air. The irritability of it was
making you ill: but I felt a bit too going to be so magnificent
in spirit.....You course a Staff College book is out of the
question. No one worth two-pence would spend four years grinding
to manglevoyble- up for such cows to set.
They will ease bar to sut: but I suspect that once set free from
the burden of it you will never take it up again. Ten thousand
pities. Everything "Air" has a halo for me, & I did want
Leigh's very fine begining career.
Did Igglesden see Lurs legalitying that coin? and is Norton still
at Cranwell? A man here has a son trying for the Boy-Mechanic
service, & I'd help smooth his path if I could.
