Dear Wavell
Your letter has followed me up here. I have changed my skin, & love the new one: though the job is less good, & the pay less, & the aspect of the countryside very bleak. However: if things were ever to get time worse I would still do it with contentment, for the R.A.F. is a show of my own.
The book halts, staggers, for the moment. When I am settled, and can make more sure for my-self, it will move on again.
Yours sincerely
T.E.Shaw
