Dear G.B.
I'm afraid this new engine has been a bit of a teaser
for you. However, there are always such troubles.
Meanwhile I've broken one of the big coil springs
of my frame; so I'm taking advantage of a few spare days to
run up to Nottingham this week. Probably the works are
shut - but if so I'll find the spares man and dig the
necessary bit out of him; while if you are open, there'll be
several things worth doing.
I don't know if it'll be Tuesday Wednesday or Thursday -
or even Friday!
