Dear Jock
I think we had better not risk it. I got back here
this morning, from a visit to our target site at Foulness.
The "week-end" may be mine, or may not; there is the chance
of Carlow, a friend of mine, coming for me in a car for us
to inspect some farms' house near Tekfield. Unlikely.
I thank, but I have promised to keep the week end open on
the chance. I like York, but have only a day or so after
for dad during midseason. York is the worst of all
English places for trains and busses - out of the season.
Your wrist has clearly been worse than you have told
us: I am so sorry. Is it going to get absolutely right
again, or not? Do report correctly.
You & I ate the chicken, and left the house door
open etc. in expectation of your coming. Awful weather. I'm
glad you didn't. Clouds Hill is a place to stay at, and
to enjoy if it is fine.
Your boots are cancelled ready, and Fav meant to
post them as soon as the "festive season" ended.
I have amended the address, & hope the new form
gratifies you
Yours
T.E.S.
