He has just written rather an interesting thesis on "Indirect Approach", traced historically over 20 campaigns from Marathon to Mons. Rather worth reading. I think. At Sheds only, to prove something : and I could prove the opposite : only, actually, he has ... taken the better, and rarer side, I fancy.
