Can't get away yet : it will have to wait
till late in May. Much to do : very little
energy to do it with. So I am not riding.
Macphail is, they say, a Canadian doctor.
If I ... was as sure about anything as he is
about everything in war & morals & manners &
politics and literature - then I'd be a great
man.
He tries, I think, to be nice about me :
but he's a mean cad about Henry ...son : and
not intelligent either, I think. Doesn't
weigh much, either side.
