Dear H.E.
There is one Kenneth Marshall anxious to see you - and
he is interesting; as ?'is full out for it. ?ounding a
holiday in my College before going to another job. ?e
is very modern, for Lester, and likes you, but not to the
point of idolatry. Doas he idolise anybody? Not, I think
he admires Marshall very much and think you would.
His means of conduct being a going will probably be a push-
bike & it's a long way from arregno so you & back: so ?'d
like to succeed his sleeping in the smack I have failed to
visit - yet.
Don't take my defection to heart - yet. I'm in the
Isle of ..ight, running .. is now just off to Manchester -
motor-boats & engines for the river. I am really grateful
one (probably not ... or noon. Meanwhile consider if
Marshall is good for you. He is more modern than us.
Yours
T.Shaw

Clouds Hill.
I don't know what to say after this (Shaw's letter - so
much depends on one's mood, young and aging. But I should
like to meet you; If you could put up with company which
might be boring.
Of course Shaw's letter is flattering, he is always
generous!
Yours
Kenneth M. Marshall
