Dear Flight Lieutenant Bamforte Greenwood,
I hear you are for here tomorrow night. The
founders have not yet done their work. Tonight they
promised the Ryland parts for the 8.30 boat tomorrow.
I hope so, but they promised them for Tuesday, too !
If they come tomorrow morning, there there will
be something to see being assembled when you come; and
if there is no hitch she might run on Friday afternoon's
tide. Only it will be surprising if there is no hitch.
Leonard Tilbury ran up the engines of 205
... in the shed. One is not quite right, yet.
Yours sincerely,
T.J.Shaw.
