Winston on the first March so that's that for the moment.

The real trouble is about my book, which isn't good: not good enough to come out. It has grown too long and shapeless, and I've not the strength to see it all in one piece, or the energy to tackle it properly. After I've got out of the Colonial Office and have been fallow for a time my interest in it will probably come back, and then I'll have another go at it: but not at present. This Office tangle takes out all one's spirits. I'm very sorry, but thats how it stands."

I suppose about May? Fed up."
Yours T.E.L.
