While we were camped, there came a terrible wind. Clouds had been gathering away to the west, getting thicker and blacker all the time. At about four o'clock it growled and started to rain in big drops. Then soon after, the wind struck us. It came in a terrible screaming rush. The little tent was carried away like a balloon on the blast; and George, who was in it at the moment, went away with it.
