The Associated Press was here on Saturday (following on a notice in Friday's News-Chronicle) asking for photos and story of R.A.F. boats and test, with particular referrce to me.
I refused, for what concerned me, and told them to get Mr. Robertson's visa before proceeding with the boats. They did not come back.
If they want their yarn badly they can hire a Southampton launch, and snap us off the yard. Perhaps you might ask Robertson to warn the Associated Press this, if it is still, as I hope, desired not to make a song about the boats.
I would like my personal part (in whatever there was) to be minimised, anyway.
